Valloire enchanté

“Valloire enchanté” is a concert sung with the public. It is part of La Traverse (Valloire’s Off festival).
Initiated in 2013, Valloire enchanté is inspired by Anglo-Saxon Sing Along concerts. Now quite popular in the USA, Great-Britain or big European cities, these concerts gather singers from all walks of life, whether or not they are choristers, around a widely-known landmark of classical music.
A single rehearsal with instruments and singers will take place on the very day of the concert.
“Valloire enchanté” is meant for three categories of guest singers:
– The public of the concert, who will learn canons and refrains at the start of the concert
– Choristers recruited during the festival, who can read a score, and rehearse on the very day of the concert
– Choristers who have registered for the concert, prepared the whole programme during the year and rehearse at Valloire on the very day of the concert. The presence of this “hard core” of performers is a guarantee of the quality of the concert.
